Wiseway Transportation Services is accepting applications for the following position(s) at this time:

DOCK WORKER

Job Qualificaitons:

1. Able to lift up to 150 pounds repetitively throughout the day.
2. Must be 18 years of age or over.
3. Able to read and write English legibly.
4. Have basic mathematics skills.
5. Able to work with a team.
6. Required to be on feet all day.
7. Dock or warehouse experience preferred.
8. Two-wheeler and pallet jack experience preferred.
9. LTL furniture experience a plus.
10. Schedule flexibility necessary due to changes in freight volumes.
11. Able to endure elements, as trailers are hot and/or cold, depending on the time of year.
12. Pass a Toronto back screen at company selected by physician (clinic) with less than moderate risk level (fee for screen to be paid by WWMF).

Job Description:

1. Load and unload trailers, using a two-wheeler, pallet jack and by hand.
2. Hand stacking furniture on dock and in trailers, up to eight feet.
3. Housekeeping duties on the dock.
4. Some paperwork duties relating to shipments.
5. Assist other areas as needed.
