Hudson, WI, September 22, 2003 - Wiseway
Transportation Services is pleased to recognize the very significant
milestone reached by one of its truck drivers, Nancy Fisher,
of Hudson, Wisconsin. Nancy has been with the company
since 1988, the year Wiseway was founded, and recently celebrated
15 years of outstanding service.
Nancy was also named Wiseway Linehaul
Driver of the Year in 1996, an award given to an exceptional
driver based on an entire year being free of accidents and
moving violations, professional and customer-driven, helpful
in other areas, etc.
Since Nancy started driving for Wiseway,
she has driven over 1.7 million miles. That's equivalent to
68 trips around the earth! Although currently a Wisconsin
resident, Nancy was formerly a resident of New Enterprise,
PA.
In September, 2003, Nancy was recognized
at a dinner by the owners of Wiseway Transportation Services.
In keeping with the theme of Wiseway's driver service awards,
"We Think The World Of Our Drivers", Nancy
received a framed piece of artwork representing the World.
Not only is Nancy an exceptional driver
for Wiseway Transportation Services, she also is a veteran
Trucker Buddy. She recently received the Trucker Buddy
of the Month award in August, 2003. As part of this
national program, Nancy corresponds with an elementary school
classroom in Swanton, Ohio. Teacher Annette Sack says "Nancy
has gone above and beyond what I anticipated a Trucker Buddy
to do for my students. She sends more than 100 postcards [from
different locations] throughout the school year, and she takes
time to respond to each student's questions. The highlight
of the school year is when she brings her dog and her truck
to the school so the children can meet them in person!"
Wiseway Transportation Services is based
in Hudson, Wisconsin. Since 1988, Wiseway has been a premier
