WISEWAY MOTOR FREIGHT AND CAMERON STUDENTS TEAM UP
TO HELP HURRICANE VICITMS

Cameron, WI; November, 2004 - Over the last three weeks, 20 students from the Cameron eighth grade class joined together to help hurricane victims in Alabama, Mississippi and Florida by organizing a food drive in their community. Although food drives are challenging because of the problems with shipping food, Wise Way Motor Freight out of Hudson allowed the students to ship their collections down to the FEMA warehouse in Mobile, Ala., with Chuck Bier, an employee of Wise Way and a parent of one of the student volunteers. The students collected, sorted and boxed nearly 30 boxes of non-perishable food items, baby food and water.

Pictured are: row one (from left), Sally Marske, Sarah Kruger, Katy Millerman, Heidi Joosten, Amy Gibbons, Anna Walther, Elise Lundequam, Allison Krug, Cassie Rowe; row two, Erika Pelishek, Ashley Root, Jasmine Johnson, Lindsay Morgan, Heidi Czyscon, Brianne Moon, Kayla Benjamin, Kelsey Kraczek, Kira Salmon, Leilha Selden, Brittany Bier and Chuck Bier.
