WISEWAY ASSISTS IN HURRICANE RELIEF EFFORTS

Working together for hurricane relief were Lions Club members and First National Bank. The First National Bank of Hudson and the Hudson Lions Club are working together on a Hurricane Katrina relief effort. The bank recently made a contribution to the Hudson Lions Club Foundation, enabling a semi-trailer of donations to be shipped to the Mississippi Gulf Coast.

Lion President Dan Gaeu and Past District Gov. Gordon Knudson coordinated the efforts of the various western Wisconsin Lions Clubs to provide a central collection point and warehouse facility. Wiseway Trucking of Hudson delivered the donated items to Biloxi and Gulfport, Miss. for distribution by local Lions members.
